Exciting Additions Revealed: Attendance Report & GPS Outside Project Report

Welcome to the latest update from busybusy! We’re excited to present our newest features designed to enhance your time-tracking experience. Introducing the Attendance Report and GPS Outside Project Report, two capabilities designed for enhancing jobsite progress.

These additions have made managing attendance and tracking off-site work easier. Now, let’s dive into the intricacies of our newest features, each tailored to accommodate varying user access, purposes, and platforms.

Attendance Report Breakdown

Tardiness among employees not only reduces productivity but also impacts job costing, especially when employees clock in early and wait in their trucks, leading to increased labor costs on projects.

2024.1 user level and purpose

When the Attendance Report is used in conjunction with scheduling, it’s easy to monitor who clocks in late, early, or absent. Let’s explore some notable features that enhance this functionality:

  • Any employee, whether scheduled or not, who clocks in will be listed in the Attendance Report.
  • PTO and Time Off entries will appear in the Attendance Report without marking employees as absent.
  • Customize On-Time Requirements (late & early) using the Attendance Report Settings.
  • The Attendance Report is printable.
  • Utilize the Status Filter to quickly identify absent, early, or late employees for the week.
  • Each employee has access to their own attendance report. Employees with permission to view schedules and track time for other positions can also see those employees’ attendance reports.

GPS Outside Project Report Capabilities

Implementing the GPS Outside Project feature creates a report showing any employee with a GPS flag on their time entry. GPS flags can be marked as Authorized or Unauthorized. This ensures both employee and employer are protected if questions arise.

Access to the GPS report is based on position permissions, which can be configured under Settings → Positions. Within the position settings, administrators can authorize GPS tracking for specific individuals or projects. Exemptions can be applied by navigating to the management list for individual employees or projects and deselecting the Location Flagging option.

Each time entry may contain multiple GPS flags, which are collectively authorized or unauthorized to save administrative time. Supervisors can manage GPS reporting for their crew members through Supervisor Tools, provided they have the necessary permissions.

Supervisors receive a single notification when a time entry is flagged, preventing excessive alerts. Additionally, at the end of the day, supervisors are reminded to review and update GPS statuses for their crew before clocking out.

The GPS flagging report is printable for convenient reference and documentation.

In conclusion-

The Attendance Report and GPS Outside Project Report represent a significant leap forward in streamlining time-tracking and ensuring accountability on the job site. These features empower users to monitor attendance trends, manage off-site activities, and maintain compliance effortlessly.
