Among these updates are features that empower users to customize daily sign-off questions, review tasks before clocking out, access enhanced field reporting capabilities, and streamline time entry and job costing through end-of-day grid entries. Custom Daily Sign Off Questions
Custom Daily Sign Off Questions empower Pro and Premium users to ask specific questions before employees clock out, fostering proactive issue identification and resolution. These questions, created on the web, seamlessly integrate into the mobile platform for convenience.
Companies can utilize this feature to inquire about tool and equipment storage, safety observations, and upcoming work assignments, ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed before employees clock out.
- Questions must be answered with a “yes” or “no.”
- Assign custom sign-off questions to specific positions.
- Create multiple custom sign-off questions.
- Reorder custom sign-off questions as needed.
- Responses to custom sign-off questions are recorded in the Daily Sign-Off Report.
- To set custom sign-out questions, navigate to settings⇒Daily Sign In/Off⇒Custom Questions.
Clock Out Review
The Clock Out Review feature, accessible to Pro and Premium users on mobile, alerts users to essential tasks that must be completed before clocking out. It serves as a helpful reminder for unassigned time, field reports, location reviews, and Daily Sign Off completion, enhancing workflow efficiency.
The Clock Out Review may include:
- Unassigned Time
- Field Reports
- Location Review
- Daily Sign Off*
- Photo Verification*
- (*must be completed before clocking out)
To activate the Clock Out Review, ensure that 2 or more of the following position permissions are enabled:
- Job Costing Prompt
- Field Report Prompt
- GPS Authorization
- Daily Sign In/Off Questions
- Photo Verification Requirement
Field Reports
Formerly known as Daily Project Reports, Field Reports are now a standalone feature available to Premium users on mobile and web platforms. This update simplifies navigation by placing Field Reports directly on the main navigation bar, improving accessibility and usability.
Here are a few things to note:
- Field Reports is now accessible directly from the Nav Bar as its own button, no longer located under the ‘More’ section.
- Report Type Templates can be designated as “Favorite” by using the Manage Types button.
- Favorite Report Types will appear under Field Reports on the Main Nav Bar for quick access.
- Clicking on a Favorite Report will instantly open the selected template.
Grid Entries
Designed for Pro users within Supervisor Tools on mobile, Grid Entries streamline time entries and job costing for supervisors. This tool allows supervisors to assign hours to cost codes efficiently, adjust start times per individual, add equipment, and create individual time and job costing entries directly from the grid.
Here are a few things to note:
- Grid Entries is accessed through Supervisor Tools.
- Only employees assigned to a supervisor’s crew for the day will be displayed in the Grid.
- The order of Cost Codes on the grid can be adjusted by selecting the three-dot stack in the upper right corner and choosing “Reorder Cost Codes.”
- Cost codes and equipment from a previous day can be copied into the Grid.
- The same start time can be applied to the entire crew or adjusted for individuals by clicking on the employee’s name and selecting “Adjust Start Time.”
- Equipment can be added to the Grid by selecting an employee’s name and choosing “Add Equipment.”
- Individual Time Entries and Job Costing Entries are generated from Grid Entries.
