Certifications & Licenses — Compliance Made Simple
This release marks a big step forward: Certifications and Licenses, the very first feature in our new Operations Module.
Instead of messy spreadsheets and missed deadlines, everything is handled inside BusyBusy:
- Employees receive alerts before certifications expire and can upload credentials directly from their phone.
- Supervisors see real-time certification status for every worker and every piece of equipment.
- Admins get a central dashboard view of anything expired or approaching renewal.
And to increase safety on projects:
- Uncertified workers are prevented from clocking into restricted equipment.
- Scheduling flags supervisors before assigning anyone to equipment without the right credentials.
- Employees can quickly show proof of certification from the field if asked.
The payoff is less liability, fewer delays, and hours saved chasing paperwork.
Certifications and Licenses is just the start — this Operations Module will soon expand with Resource Scheduling and Equipment Inspection Reports.
Photo Updates — Crisp, Clear, and Twice the Detail
Documentation matters, and now your job site photos look better than ever. We’ve doubled photo resolution in BusyBusy, making every picture sharper and more reliable for reports, safety records, and customer proof.
You don’t have to change a thing — the upgrade is built in. Snap photos as usual, and when you download them later, you’ll notice the difference.
GPS Per Project — Precision Control
Sometimes you might want to turn off GPS tracking for a single project. For example, some states have stricter GPS tracking rules (looking at you California) or some Union have specific project requirements. If this is the case we have you covered.
Now you have the ability to enable or disable GPS tracking per project.
From the Project Management List, just open a project, scroll to the geolocation settings, and toggle GPS tracking off if it’s unnecessary. That means more flexibility for your workflows and cleaner data overall.
Printable Safety Observations — Records at Your Fingertips
When you need hard copies or PDFs of safety observations, it’s now a one-click process.
Open any observation, hit the Print option at the top, and BusyBusy instantly generates a polished PDF you can file, share, or hand off to inspectors.

Everything in the 2025.7 release is live right now. Certifications and Licenses can be added today through the Operations Module, and the other updates are already in your app.
