Data Analyst

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a part/full-time intern to assist with data analytics and software processes. You will gain experience in Domo, Salesforce, and Database querying with the assistance of a Senior Data Analyst. To do well in this role, you will need to be comfortable with being proactive in various data-driven activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage large datasets and queries from a variety of existing datasets from a variety of database types, reporting tools, and datastores.
• Assisting with and maintaining current business processes and services.
• Analyzing data to help answer questions, identify trends, and find compelling stories within.
• Providing insights and recommendations through reports and data visualizations.
• Monitor and track the performance of different business areas, e.g. Sales, Marketing, Client Success & Product.
• Provide data cleansing and best practices in maintaining data systems.

WHAT WE EXPECT

• Must be earning or just earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field or have relevant work experience in data analytics.
• Must have some experience in using SQL and be comfortable with joins.
• Experience with one or multiple of the following will be highly desirable; Python, R.
• Experience with data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Domo, etc.
• Demonstrated experience, familiarity, and ease with handling large data sets and crunching numbers, as well as comfortable with data cleanup while working in spreadsheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms and effectively influence both peers and senior leadership.

• Eagerness to learn data analysis skills, new software, and a love for solving problems.
